My Bio
I am an incredibly compassionate and empathetic person that tries everyday to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a writer. I write everything from poetry to novels to memoir pieces. My stories generally fall under the genre of Paranormal Romance as I am heavily inspired by love, magic, and my spirituality.
I am Pagan. I began dancing down this beautiful path in my mid teens after several years of trying to convince myself that it was just God speaking to me on the wind and not a female deity (there is a memoir piece in my gallery titled "My Spiritual Journey" that will provide more insight on this). My Goddess is my muse and She inspires me everyday to create beautiful creations. Everything from jewelry to photography to writings of all sorts. I have even written some songs in the past.
My favorite places to create my things are out in nature, usually in a foresty/woodsy type area. It's where I'm most at home~ As such nature in general is incredibly important to me and I support every effort to be more "green" that there is. The earth is something to be respected, not dominated.
The only thing to rival nature in importance to me is animals. They are my life, my passion. If I was not a writer I would go to school and double major in Ecology and Zoology. I am incredibly sensitive where animals are concerned and this sensitivity has led me to the path of vegetarianism. Someday I hope to be Vegan~
If I'm not writing you can bet I'm reading a book or gardening~ I fill my life with beauty and happiness and hope to spread a bit of that to others lives through my art. Bright blessings and welcome to my little corner of the interwebz~!!!

I love my friends here at dA. This place is so very inspiring with the copious amounts of artwork and the fabulous conversations that take place in the comments section. But I already have a writer website and a more personal livejournal that I update nearly daily (the latter being a friends only thing), and they take up my posting time and thoughts and I'm left with very little to post here. Senate Votes and New Projects

I am watching the NY senate's meeting to decide on Marriage Equality~ This is something I feel very strongly about, everyone should have the right to marry the one they love, no questions asked. But this is the sort of thing I talk about on my LJ, not here--just thought I'd share a link in case anyone else wanted to watch as well :)
I started a new novel the other day. It's about a nomadic freegan, so before I began it I did alot of research on freeganism. I've also been reading up on Massachusetts (and really New England in general) as that's where most of my stories, including this one, take place.

This past Tuesday, my friend, Sarah Diemer, released her very first novel, The Dark Wife! She's written countless novels over the years, and has dreamed of having a novel published since the time she was six, and now, twenty years later, her dream has come true.
She didn't go the route of legacy publishing, she chose instead (or rather, was divinely instructed) to self publish it. And she dove into it head first. Her sister illustrated the cover and took her author photos, and her wife edited the entire manuscript.
